I really enjoyed the comedy show and karaoke. I hope to come back soon. I thought it was great! What a gem! :)

Zen Bar attracts a crowd (not too large) during the week and a decent weekend crowd. The owner is extremely personable and attentive. Good beer selection. I haven't tried their food but several patrons were eating and enjoying their appetizers. Karaoke just about everyday if that's your thing. If you're in the Plainville, CT area and are looking for a place to throw a few back, Zen Bar is a great place to go.
The selection of beers was great. A local atmosphere made it comfortable to meet new friends. I would recommend this pub to any passing traveler.
Don't use a debit or credit card if you go to Zen Bar! I noticed I was changed twice for my order, twice for the 22% tip. I understand mistakes will be made here and there... No biggie, but I called the next morning and spoke with the owner who told me the cards will have a hold for 5-8 business days. I was never refunded. I wish I had a better experience with getting the payment fixed, the food was awesome.
