terrible service- Never mailed me my quote afor hardwood After 3 days and called them to get it--did not have my e-mail even though I gave it to them--Had to ask 3 people to help us with the hardwood as 2 of them were talking and putting up on shelves light bulbs and the other person had to go to them mens room-- So I had to push the button for help--waited 15 minutes before someone came and the store was NOT BUSY. called bacj and spoke to jessica who said she would -email me my quote
Somewhat organized store. If your looking for help to load heavy items into a truck or trailer forget about it. Most of the associates see a customer and they almost literally run to get away from them.
I LOVE TO SHOP AT LOWE'S STAFF - VERY HELPFUL SERVICE IS AWESOME. AS A 75 YR OLD WOMAN I ENJOY WALKING AROUND THE STORE. PLAINVILLE LOWE'S IS TOPS.
Thank you Allen, for helping me just now. I walk into Lowe's Home Improvement in Plainville, CT, looking to upgrade my bathroom in my house. I had a question about the model present, which it said ask an associate or go online...I decided since I was at the store that I should just ask the next person I see about the shower I saw. I found Allen, who looked like he wasn't helping anyone (or doing anything at all) if I could ask him a question about the shower model...his response was, "push the 'Need help button'". I'm not sure if it was bc he wasn't a "plumber" or that I was "brown-skinned", but he could've definitely heard my question before he sent me to the "need help button". He could've called over the intercom, or called customer service to see if someone more "qualified" could help me. But for him to barely have any desire or interest of why I was in the store in the first place...makes me regret driving here from Waterbury. I guess I'll take my business back to Home Depot, where I won't be prejudged or looked at different due to whatever assumptions or prejudgemts Allen had when he looked at me and my family. Thank you Allen for reminding me that no one cares about doing the job they were hired for...it's just a paycheck. Either that or racism still exist...you be the judge.
Went to see a movie, next door was Lowe's. Location very convenient so we went shopping, they had a great selection, we purchased some outdoor lights.
