Technician was extremely knowledgeable and recommended how to avoid problems with my heating system. Was able to come same day when they were super busy due to the extreme cold in CT. I highly recommend Solvit. Have used them for electricity, plumbing and heating/ac.
We were more than satisfied with the work done by Joe and Rachel. They worked well together as a team. Rachel takes her work seriously and works accordingly. She worked steadily. She was very professional. You could tell she liked her job and it showed. She explained every action she took. As she discussed various options we listened and did not feel pressured to take. However, we respected her knowledge and took her suggestions. She did a real good job and we appreciate that.
Ray and his assistant arrived on time, then worked quickly and efficiently. They were respectful of my home, wore booties over their shoes which is appreciated as they had to go in/out a few times, and were careful to not let out the cat. They took the time to show how lighting would look before changing lightbulbs, put sealers around doors which had air leaks and covers on the bottom of doors where needed. Best of all they both had nice attitudes, and seemed to enjoy their work.
David was very knowledgeable, gave us a professional assessment of our older heating system and recommended course of action to address water leak which could not be fixed. Dave also advised us on how to monitor our furnace, what the gauges should read and what to do if the system should fail before replacement is scheduled in next few days. We, of course would rather not have a heating problem in the first place, but we are happy to know where we stand and what to do. Thanks for coming out New Years Eve Dave!
I had the home energy audit. Wow, it was great. If you haven’t done it yet GET IT DONE and get it done with these guys. The technicians are great and boy they do a lot of work. The guys were very professional but also very friendly. Great job!
