So finally we have the car, all is good. We get home, I try getting out the of the car, and nothing. The passenger door does not open from the inside, there is some wiring or something that must have come loose. Now this car has a 30 day warranty, but we told him about this problem the next day. He didn't believe us! Had to get in the car and tried to force it open, after awhile he accepts its broken but acts like we're really putting him out by needing that fixed. It has been over a month now and guess what is still not fixed? That's right. Because even though we told him IMMEDIATELY he refused to fix it. We even offered to bring it down there and do it ourselves with his tools... Normal people don't have all of the tools someone might need to work on a car, sorry! But, the point is that it still isn't fixed and he was extremely unwilling to work with us to get it fixed.
NOW the car is having some kind of transmission problem that clearly should have been caught and fixed while being worked on at the shop. Especially because we had to wait those 4 days for them to work on the car and make sure everything was in working condition.
What started off as a seemingly stress free car purchase has been going down hill since the day we told him we wanted to the car. Test drive and initial contact were easy and great. But, once we had money down it started to get frustrating. We put down our deposit and had to wait 4 days (Monday deposit was down, we got the car Thursday night) to actually bring the car home and sign paperwork. That was already kind of annoying, especially because he kept making us wait on that Thursday, saying he wasn't ready over and over until finally around 6:30 we were able to go and get it.
(One positive though, there is a dog that hangs out in the shop and she is really cute and friendly.)
Let me tell you, I don't usually go out of my way to write things like this but I'm really upset by the service we received and have been receiving, especially because it seemed like their other customers were treated so well. It's very disappointing to spend so much on something and immediately have problems that are too inconvenient to be fixed.
