Who was absolutely spectacular. I really hope to go there again next balloon show. I really recommend taking kids there. They can see hot air balloons going up a bunch at a time.

A great show of hot air balloons. This year there had to be at least 20 to 25 balloons and about 200 to 300 people there as well. On Friday, Saturday there are vendors and music, but on Sunday there's no vendors or music. There is just a tent that sells food. There are lots of port a potties and wash stations. Get there early around 5:00 am or 5:30 am. The large parking lot fills up fast. The balloons start flying off around 6:00 am and are done around 7:30 am. Don't forget to bring your camera. A great show for all ages
Great park. Nice playground. Kids play soccer there for the Plainville Soccer club.
The town pool has both a gentle, slow, toddler water slide and an older kid/adult, faster water slide. There are different lecelanof the pool and always at least 5 life guards watching out. No floating devices are allowed on children so if you have little ones they new to stay in the wading section where there is a giant mushroom shaped sprinkler. You can bring a picnic blanket for the grass and have snacks and drinks on your blanket or under the gazebo but no food or drinks in the pool. The playground has just been updated with a zip line, and other fun playground equipment. There is also a new skate park area. Bathrooms are available. Tennis courts, soccer fields, and baseball fields are all available. There are many picnic tables and grills throughout the park. The hot air balloon festival is hosted here every year at the end of August.
